New to EFC

It is never easy to visit a new church for the first time.  Although no two services are exactly alike.  Here are some of the things you can expect on a Sunday morning when you visit Echoes From Calvary.  We want to make your experience a good one!

Parking Lot

Depending on when you arrive you may get a parking space close to the building or one in the AAA lot next door.  Some of our friendly men do oversee the parking lot on Sunday mornings and are available to direct you or assist you in any way you need help.

The first people you will probably see as you enter the front doors are the “greeters.”  These are some of the great friendly people that call EFC their home.  They are helpful volunteers who can direct you to the Sanctuary, Nursery, Children’s Classes, restrooms, etc.  Look for the folks with the big smile and welcome handshake!

First-Time Guests

We are always thrilled to receive first-time guests.  All first-time guests receive a small thank you gift for visiting us!  Please make sure you fill out and return the Guest Card:

We will be praying for you during the following week!

A small gift “cookie sack” will be delivered to  you if you live in the area

This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts.  You will notice we have upbeat worship with guitars, drums, piano, trumpets, the works, as well as intimate songs of worship.  Everyone worships in their own unique way.  For many, that means singing, clapping, raising their hands and jumping, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words of the songs.  At Echoes From Calvary, YOU are free to express what comes from your heart of praise to God!

The Message

In every service you will hear Bible based messages that are practical and relevant to everyday life that will help provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.

What is there for Children?

So you and your children can enjoy the service, please take advantage of the following opportunities for children.

Nursery: If you have an infant we have a fantastic Nursery that is available at the beginning of the 10:30 am service.  Parents will check in their children and be given a number so they can be notified if they are needed during the service via the monitor on the wall in the main sanctuary.

Pre-K: Children that are the ages 2-4 can go directly into their own class where they will be taught and loved.

Children’s Church: If you have children from 6-12 years, they are going to love Children’s Church!  They are in the main sanctuary for the first part of our worship service and then they are dismissed to go and experience EFC Kid’s Church!

Usually we celebrate communion together on the first Sunday of each month.  Anyone can participate in this time of reflecting and prayer as long as they have made the decision to follow Jesus Christ.  The juice and the bread that we share represent the life He gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.

After Service

Please feel free to hang out a while and get to know us.  Greeters and pastoral staff are available for prayer and questions after the service!  Also check out the tables in the lobby for any upcoming events!

Let’s talk about dress. We want yo to feel comfortable.  After all, we are thrilled that you’re joining us and want you to be more focused on the service than what you’re wearing.  Some people dress up and some choose to dress down.  Of course we appreciate a standard of decency, but most of all come the way that you feel most comfortable.
